Tom ‘Welly’ Wells is an internationally renowned spray paint artist based in South West England. His innovative and exciting spray paint technique is documented in videos regularly uploaded to TikTok, where he has over 2 million followers.

Tom was first inspired to take up art while travelling in Italy – a street artist in Rome painted the Colosseum for him and it sparked an artistic flame that he never knew existed. He is self-taught and says he loves the erratic and unpredictable characteristics of spray paint and the endless possibilities it offers. 

Tom combines freehand techniques with textured effects, stencil art and some traditional brush work to create each piece, with themes that vary – often inspired by pop culture and the suggestions of his clients and community on social media.

As well as painting, Tom also offers art coaching, content creation, custom painting and live painting for events and launches.
